The Centre will send 1,000 metric tonnes of onions to Delhi, where they will be sold at Rs 35 per kg. Consumers can buy them through fair price shops and mobile vans across all 13 districts. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the government is monitoring onion prices closely and will take steps to prevent shortages across the capital.
