SIR Draft Roll: 47.7 Lakh Delhi Names Left Out

Delhi’s draft electoral roll under the SIR is set to exclude nearly 47.7 lakh names from its 1.45-crore electorate. About 97.5 lakh voters are included after enumeration. Those missing can file claims and objections between August 31 and September 30, before the final voter list is published on November 4, allowing eligible voters to seek corrections.
