Mumbai-born Indian youth footballer Yohaan Benjamin has joined Portugal’s Guarda FC on a two-year deal, subject to clearance. The midfielder previously played for Shillong Lajong and NK Bravo U19 in Slovenia. He became the first Indian player to feature in the UEFA Youth League. Guarda FC hopes to help him develop further in Europe.
