GO 97 Row: Telangana BJP Chief Claims House Arrest

Telangana BJP chief N Ramchander Rao said police stopped him from visiting protesting polytechnic students in Ramanthapur on Thursday. Students are opposing GO 97, fearing it may affect ECET and turn colleges into skill-training centres. Rao called the government’s move an “emergency mindset” and demanded that GO 97 be withdrawn completely.
