IIT Delhi has begun an external inquiry into the death of 31-year-old MSc Physics student Rishikesh Kumar. Retired Delhi HC judge Justice Mukta Gupta heads the panel, which includes an AIIMS psychiatrist and student representatives. The committee will examine institutional processes, speak with stakeholders, and submit its findings within two weeks.
