The Supreme Court has issued notices to 20 rebel TMC MPs over party leader Abhishek Banerjee’s plea seeking an early decision on their disqualification. The MPs allegedly switched parties, but Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has not decided the petitions. The court did not issue notice to the Speaker yet and sought responses from the parties.
