The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has reported the formation of a low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal. Under its influence, heavy rain is likely at isolated places in North Andhra today, Aug 25. Moderate rain with lightning is expected in Polavaram, Vizag, Anakapalli and Kakinada, while other districts may receive light rain.
