Hyderabad CGST officials busted an illegal pan masala and tobacco unit in Medchal-Malkajgiri and detected around Rs 160 crore in tax evasion. Officers seized 5,500 kg of finished products, tobacco, packing material and 40 machines. A key accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody for 14 days after being produced before the local court.
