Delhi has warned pharmacies against misleading medicine discount ads claiming 60%, 70% or 80% off. The Drugs Control Department said discounts below MRP are allowed, but advertised offers must be genuine and clear. Pharmacies have been asked to avoid false or vague claims, especially while promoting prescription medicines, to protect consumers.
