Telangana's flagship Cheyutha scheme is receiving an overwhelming reply, with widow pensions accounting for the share of applications. Of the 1,61,752 applications received across the state so far, 1,08,571 are from widows seeking pension benefits. Hyderabad recorded the highest number of applications at 9,568, while Mulugu reported the lowest, with 1,505.
