Delhi Plans Mega Metro Expansion Under 2047 Vision

Delhi’s metro network is set to expand to 695 km under the Delhi Master Plan 2047, Union Minister Manohar Lal said. The expansion could boost connectivity, ease congestion, and promote cleaner transport. However, meeting the target will depend on timely execution, funding, coordinated planning, and better integration with other public transport systems.
