Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has asked public sector banks to make banking simpler and more youth-friendly. She announced a ‘Banking for Youth’ campaign from October 2. Banks will engage with students, provide financial education and support young people with accounts, education, entrepreneurship, credit and investment opportunities.
