The International Criminal Court said US sanctions against its officials undermine the rule of law and put the international legal order at risk. Washington sanctioned ICC President Tomoko Akane and senior trial lawyer Abdoulaye Seye, accusing the court of politicisation. The Hague-based court said it remained undeterred and stood behind its personnel.
