Sunil Bharti Mittal will step down as Non-Executive Chairman of Airtel Payments Bank on September 30, 2026. Shabnam Sinha, currently an Independent Director, will become Chairperson for a three-year term from October 1. Her appointment has been approved by the Board and RBI. Sinha brings over 30 years of leadership experience.
