SC Seeks Centre's Reply On Child Abuse Content

The Supreme Court flagged alleged social media lapses in reporting child sexual abuse material under the POCSO Act and sought the Centre's response. It directed MeitY and the Law Ministry to file counter-affidavits before the September 24 hearing. The plea seeks uniform reporting procedures, evidence preservation and direct sharing with Indian authorities.
