The Jharkhand student agitation over alleged recruitment exam irregularities has entered its 24th day, with protesters intensifying demands for cancellation of exams and a CBI probe. Yesterday, students burnt effigies of CM Hemant Soren and Rahul Gandhi across the state. Protesters have also announced plans to gherao the CM’s residence.
