Telangana SC Farmers Face Land And Insurance Crisis

A CESS study found that over 61% of SC households in Telangana are landless, while only 0.68% have crop insurance. Many farmers depend on borewells for irrigation, as their land is often far from canals and tanks. The study, covering 10,213 households, highlights major gaps in land ownership, insurance, irrigation and agricultural support.
