The Telangana govt is set to launch ATM-sized PVC smart ration cards today, replacing decade-old paper cards with more durable and secure versions. CM Revanth Reddy will attend the distribution program at Ambedkar Stadium in Sangareddy and unveil statues of Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi at IB Junction. Around 1,500 police personnel have been deployed for arrangements.
