India has reduced windfall taxes on petrol, diesel and aviation fuel exports from today. The duty on petrol exports has been abolished, while diesel tax has fallen to ₹24 per litre from ₹25.50. The levy on aviation turbine fuel exports was also cut to ₹19.50 from ₹22, following changes in global crude prices and market conditions.
