Kannada star actor Yash said he was surprised to learn that Kiara Advani had never performed a rain sequence before "Toxic". He praised her dedication during the shoot, saying she gave 100% despite being pregnant. Yash and director Geetu Mohandas closely looked after her on set. He also praised co-star Tara Sutaria’s appearance in the film.
