The Supreme Court quashed the criminal case and summons against Congress leader and LoP Rahul Gandhi over his remarks about V. D. Savarkar. The court said the required sanction to prosecute him was missing. Rahul Gandhi had challenged the summons issued by a Lucknow court over comments made during his 2022 Bharat Jodo Yatra.
