Telangana Plans Vegetable Hub Near 39 Central Kitchens For School Meals

Telangana officials held a high-level meeting to promote vegetable cultivation for the school breakfast plan. To feed 20.5 lakh students daily, 1.2 lakh kg of vegetables are needed. The plan aims to directly procure from local farmers, eliminating middlemen. This will support rural farmers, women's groups, and ensure fresh, nutritious meals for students.
