The Centre has extended Enforcement Directorate Director Rahul Navin’s tenure by one year until August 13, 2027. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the extension on August 8, 2026. Navin, an IRS officer, was earlier scheduled to complete his tenure in August 2026. He will now continue leading the ED for another year.
