Milk prices in Maharashtra are set to rise by ₹2 per litre from August 11. The Milk Producers and Processors Welfare Association approved the hike during a meeting attended by cooperative and private dairies. Milk Industry cited rising procurement, transportation and packaging expenses, saying the hike is necessary to offset growing costs across supply chain.
