The Cabinet has approved a ₹8,970 crore, 135.87 km, 4-lane access-controlled Guwahati-Tezpur corridor in Assam under BOT mode. The project includes bypasses, bridges, flyovers, and an emergency landing strip. It will decongest NH-27, cut travel time, improve safety, and boost connectivity to key economic, tourism, and logistics hubs across the region.
