Vizag Port Handles Over Half Of India's Seafood Exports

Visakhapatnam Port handled 50.87% of India's seafood exports in FY2025, emerging as the country's largest marine export gateway, the Centre informed Parliament. The port's share rose sharply from 29.67% in FY2024 and remained strong at 48.89% in FY2026, reflecting Andhra Pradesh's growing role in seafood exports and improved export infrastructure.
