The world-famous Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra concludes today with the sacred 'Niladri Bije' ceremony, marking the return of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra to the main temple. Goddess Lakshmi initially stops their entry, upset at being left behind. Lord Jagannath appeases her by offering 'Rasagullas', after which deities are welcomed into the temple.
