The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, approved 4 new railway lines to strengthen connectivity between AP and Karnataka, including third and fourth tracks on a key economic corridor. Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said it will boost freight, passenger movement and regional growth. The Cabinet also cleared a new scheme to develop India’s chemicals sector.
