The Supreme Court has agreed to hear petitions alleging excessive police action against students protesting examination paper leaks at Jantar Mantar and other locations across the country. Petitioners claim disproportionate force was used during the demonstrations. The apex court will examine the matter and legality of the police response on July 27.
