"Students To Lead Next Phase Of Protest"

Activist Sonam Wangchuk's wife, Gitanjali Angmo, said he ended his hunger strike only after receiving written assurance from the government that no legal action would be taken against students participating in the protests. She added that student leaders will decide the next course of action after meeting government ministers in the coming days.
