Senior politician and Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham passed away at the age of 73 while undergoing treatment in Hyderabad. A former MLA, MP and minister, he was widely known for leading the Kapu reservation movement in Andhra Pradesh. Leaders from different political parties expressed grief over his demise. He is survived by his son and daughter.
