Omar Abdullah Backs Fresh India-Pakistan Dialogue

Omar Abdullah supported fresh India-Pakistan talks, saying better relations are important despite years of tension. He said dialogue should not be opposed if it helps restore peace. Referring to Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s famous quote, he stressed good neighbourly ties. The BJP criticised the appeal, saying such decisions belong only to the Central government.
