State-run oil marketing companies lost ₹74,781 crore on fuel sales until June 30, due to rising crude prices during the West Asia conflict, said Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Though prices have eased, refiners are still processing costly crude bought earlier. He added that discussions on reducing fuel prices would be relevant if lower crude prices persist.
