Nifty-50 IT Tops Sectoral Charts With 4% Surge

The Nifty-50 IT index jumped over 4% in intraday trading, led by gains of up to 5% in Infosys, TCS, Coforge, Mphasis, HCL Tech, and Persistent Systems. The Nifty-50 stood at 26,781, ending a four-session losing streak, while the Nifty 50 gained 0.40% to 24,096. Despite the rally, Nifty IT had declined 30% in H1CY26 amid macro-economic and AI-driven concerns.
