Government To Amend National Anti-Doping Act, 2025

The Centre plans to amend the National Anti-Doping Act, 2025, during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. The changes aim to punish trafficking, illegal supply and promotion of banned substances. Athletes who fail doping tests will not face criminal charges unless they are involved in organised doping or drug trafficking activities.
