Parents' Support Cannot Deny Wife Maintenance: HC

The Allahabad High Court ruled that a husband cannot deny maintenance to his wife simply because her parents are supporting her. The court said parental help does not replace a husband's legal responsibility. It awarded the wife Rs 5,000 monthly and increased maintenance for her two children to Rs 4,000 each, calling the earlier amount inadequate.
