The Indian Coast Guard rescued all six crew members of a distressed fishing boat that began taking on water due to hull damage in rough seas off the Suratkal coast near Mangaluru, officials said. ICGS Sachet intercepted a VHF distress call from vessel Manju Matha, about 33 nautical miles offshore, after it reported severe flooding due to hull damage.
