Stock Market Close: Sensex Jumps 791 Pts, Nifty At 24,000

Indian benchmark indices ended sharply higher, with the Sensex rising 791 points, setting at 76,972.30 and the Nifty50 ending at 24,021.65. Strong gains in IT, banking, financial and realty stocks lifted market sentiment. InterGlobe Aviation, Adani Enterprises and Trent led the rally. While IT and realty outperformed, auto and metal stocks ended lower.
