Telangana To Begin Major Land Re-Survey Statewide

The Telangana government will begin a statewide land re-survey next month, starting with 2,240 villages in 32 districts. Using modern technologies such as DGPS and GIS, the project aims to provide accurate land records, assign unique BhuDhar numbers and reduce ownership disputes. More than 5,500 trained surveyors will be involved in the exercise.
