TN Assembly Unites Against Mekedatu Dam Project

The Tamil Nadu Assembly unanimously passed a resolution opposing the Mekedatu Dam project, with CM Vijay thanking all parties for their support. The resolution objected to Karnataka's efforts to construct a dam across the Cauvery River at Mekedatu, citing the 2018 Supreme Court judgment. It also called upon the Centre to withhold all required approvals.
