India's hockey legend Manpreet Singh has achieved a key milestone by becoming the most-capped player in the nation's history. The experienced midfielder made his 413th international appearance during FIH Hockey Pro League 2026 match against Germany in Rotterdam. He surpassed the previous record of 412 matches held by former Hockey captain Dilip Tirkey.
