Govt Imposes Telegram Ban For NEET UG Re-Exam

The Centre banned Telegram till June 22 citing security concerns ahead of NEET UG re-exam 2026. Under Section 69A of the IT Act, access to the platform has been temporarily restricted in India. The move follows inputs from NTA and the Education Ministry after several suspicious channels allegedly linked to paper leaks surfaced in recent weeks.
