'Lagaan' Marks 25 Glorious Years In Indian Cinema

Today, June 15, marks the 25th anniversary of the release of 'Lagaan', one of the most hit films in Indian cinema. Director Ashutosh Gowariker initially narrated the story to Aamir Khan, who turned it down. However, after hearing a new version of the script, Aamir was deeply moved. With no producers willing to back it, he decided to produce the film himself.
