Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) pulled out ₹62,800 crore from Indian equities in the first fortnight of June, taking 2026 outflows to ₹2.87 lakh crore. Persistent selling is driven by geopolitical tensions, global growth concerns, and a weakening rupee. In contrast, FPIs invested over ₹13,200 crore in debt securities during the same period.
