Born in 1976 in Uttarakhand, Jaspal Rana began his journey with a silver medal at National Shooting Championship in 1988. He rose to prominence by winning gold at the 1994 Asian Games in Hiroshima and later became one of India's most shooters. Rana also excelled at the Commonwealth and Asian Games, winning 6 medals at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games.
