PV Sindhu Storms Into Australian Open Semis

World No. 10 PV Sindhu advanced to the semifinals of the Australian Open in Sydney today after a big 21-6, 21-9 win over Chinese Taipei's Chen Su Yu in just 27 minutes. The third seed dominated throughout to secure her second semifinal appearance of the 2026 season after Malaysia Open. Sindhu will next face top seed and 3-time world champion Akane Yamaguchi.
