Southwest Monsoon Set To Advance Across Four States

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the Southwest Monsoon is expected to advance into Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka over the next 4 days. Due to the influence of surface troughs extending over the Bay of Bengal, light to moderate rainfall is likely across the Telugu states for the next three days beginning today.
