Director Bharathiraja's Final Rites To Be Held Today

Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja will be cremated with full state honours in his hometown Theni today. Family, fans and film industry members paid their final respects. Known as a pioneer of Tamil cinema, he directed many classic films over four decades. Authorities have made special arrangements for the cremation ceremony.
