The weather department has issued an orange alert for hailstorms, lightning and strong winds in parts of Himachal Pradesh on June 11 and 12. Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla and Sirmaur may be affected. Rain is expected across the state until June 16 due to a fresh western disturbance, bringing unstable weather conditions.
