Telangana Speeds Up Kaleshwaram Restoration Plan

Telangana Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said repair work on the damaged Kaleshwaram barrages is progressing quickly. Technical studies will finish by early July, and rehabilitation work is expected to begin after the monsoon. The government aims to restore the barrages by summer 2027. Investigations are also underway to fix responsibility.
